I've just finished reading this book.
The Twister gets a mention! (on page 103).
I can't say I recommend it as it's not very well written.
It seems to be as much information as you would expect to be imparted in a long magazine article. Instead the author has padded that out and repeated himself many, many times to make it into a book size text.
Still - I did find it interesting - knowing the amount of work that went into designing the Spitfire.
While the rest of aviation went from Biplanes to Jets in the era of the Spitfire, it's wings remained unchanged. This says all you need to know about how ahead of it's time it was.
As you can see below the Twister wing is not exactly the same as a Spitfire wing - the Orange paint is Spitfire shape and the Silver parts are the extra shape that make up a Twister wing (and tail).
